My company was ROY LILLY TYPEWRITERS.

 

But now semi-retired as a company. Over the last 55years I have worked on most makes of typewriters my favourites are the German ones Olympia Adler, also got trained on IBM electronic typewriters also brother wordprossors.

I am repairing typewriters and working today, my favourite machines are the Olympia SM8 and SF 33 & 66. I started work as apprentice typewriter engineer in 1965 in a office equipment company in Truro and after 35 years unfortunately got made redundant, so then started my own typewriter company also repairing dictating machines.

 

But as the electronic age came and computers took over I had to get a part time job, over the years I've repaired most makes of machines and have been to Olympia, IBM and Hermes.
